Is there a ‘problem’ or a myth about non-latex condoms?
My friend has been telling me that she cannot use latex condoms, because of allergies, and refuses to use non-latex because they ‘do something’ and wont tell me what this something is. Is there anything wrong with them?
I know people are allergic to latex, thats not my question.
Non-latex condoms have been shown to have higher breakage and slippage rates than latex ones. The first avanti brand one (called superthin) was withdrwn from sales in the early 90′s for this reason However given the choice between no condom and one with a slightly higher risk of breaking i think your frind is making the wrong choice.
